I had an early morning visitor today , my friend the common crow(Corvus splendens). She/he comes to balcony calls for me and actually asks for food. Crows are extremely intelligent creatures. They are scavengers and help keep are environment clean.I feed him/her a raisin everyday. In our hindu culture they are venerated and the first thing we do is feed the crow with some fresh rice. Only then do we partake our food. Our ancestors rock!!
Thanks for sending me this link. I didn't know crows were venerated in our culture but I was always thankful for these beautiful scavengers who kept our environment clean.
